Take the Risk, okay?

How boring would life be if there were never any challenges? I mean, if everything you tried worked out the very first time. If every challenge was met with success, no set backs, no problems. I suppose that is possible, just not very exciting. Very safe.How much better to try with a chance of failure? Isn't success that much better? And failure is an even greater lesson. Sumba Dispensary OPD

Construction has started on the Out Patient Block of the Sumba Dispensary. See the pictures here! After 2 1/2 years, the footings have been dug and the foundation has been built. We are now ready for pouring the slab. Thanks to David Odhiambo, our builder, Ochanda and Steven for supervision and pictures, and Hadoda Investments for supplying materials.See More

New water project- the 'Climb for Water

We are about half way to our financial goal for the Rotary Global Grant. Still waiting to hear from several Rotary Clubs. I am hoping they will join us. Global Grant

The Global Grant paperwork is nearly complete. It looks very good for us to receive the grant after all the clubs that have committed to the project and the expectation of the Rotary District 6440 match. When all is done, this grant will give us $50,000 to drill four borehole wells in Nyanza Province Kenya and to provide clean water for drinking and cooking for 15,000 - 20,000 people that do not have it now. Wow, and a big thanks to everyone that has made this possible.
